West Davidson entered their tilt with Ledford on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Dragons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While West Davidson won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 25-23.

West Davidson was led to victory by Cheyenne Hedrick and Spencer Simerson. Hedrick had 25 digs and two aces, while Simerson had 11 digs. That's the most digs Simerson has posted since back in August.

They weren't the only good servers: West Davidson was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in nine consecutive matches.

West Davidson's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Ledford, their loss ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4.

Coincidentally, West Davidson and Ledford will both be playing Oak Grove the next time they take the court. The Dragons will head out to face the Grizzlies at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
