Football Recap: North Rockland Falls Short Against Ranked Yonkers

North Rockland faced Yonkers in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Raiders fell 27-18 to the Bulldogs. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 12-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for North Rockland and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Yonkers, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. North Rockland is set to square off against their familiar foe Scarsdale at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Yonkers will face off against rival New Rochelle at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
