Baseball Recap: Kenwood Comes Up Short

Kenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Whites Creek Cobras, falling 15-6.

Marvin Wares was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Shawn Taylor was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2.

Kenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Whites Creek, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Kenwood beat the Cobras by a score of 8-2 later that day.
