It was a good run, but New Deal unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost to the New Home Leopards at home by a 38-23 margin. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 391st, while the Leopards are ranked 116th).

New Deal's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-12. As for New Home, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 24-7.

Both are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. New Deal will challenge Olton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. New Home has already played their next match (against Sudan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
