Basketball Recap: Tarpon Springs Takes a Loss

Tarpon Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Anclote Sharks and fell 71-41. The Spongers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Sharks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Tarpon Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Anclote, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.

Tarpon Springs will head out to challenge Countryside at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Anclote, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Hudson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anclote is facing Hudson at the right time seeing as Hudson is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
