Baseball Recap: Belleview Comes Up Short

Belleview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-2 to the Berryhill Chiefs.

Belleview saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Gifford, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Belleview's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Berryhill, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Belleview will take on Holmes County in a tournament on Tuesday. As for Berryhill, they will face off against South Walton at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games South Walton has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
