Basketball Recap: Red Bank Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

Red Bank proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 64) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand the East Ridge Pioneers a 3-0 shutout. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since December 3, 2024.

Red Bank's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6. The wins didn't necessarily come from the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.0 points per game. As for East Ridge, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Bank will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hixson at 3:30 p.m. on January 28th. As for East Ridge, they will face off against Tyner Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
