Baseball Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Jackson's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Morgan County Bulldogs on Friday. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Morgan County, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson will face off against Callaway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackson's pitchers better be ready for this one: Callaway has averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Morgan County, they will host Pike County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
