Baseball Recap: Eisenhower Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Eisenhower took on Arroyo Valley on Saturday. The Eisenhower Eagles came up short against the Arroyo Valley Hawks, falling 12-1. The Eagles' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Eisenhower saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kevin Gallardo, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Eisenhower now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Arroyo Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Eisenhower wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against San Gorgonio on the 19th. As for Arroyo Valley, they have also already played their next game, an 8-5 win against Indio on the 19th.
