Softball Recap: Jeffersontown Takes a Loss

After flying high against Seneca last Wednesday, Jeffersontown came back down to earth. Jeffersontown came up short against the Fairdale Bulldogs on Monday, falling 26-20. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (16), the Chargers still had to take the loss.

Jeffersontown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Fairdale, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jeffersontown will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cornerstone Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on April 8. As for Fairdale, they will challenge Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
