Basketball Recap: Alexander Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Alexander had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They enjoyed a cozy 75-61 victory over the Gananda Central Blue Panthers on Monday. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on three straight.

Despite the defeat, Gananda Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cooper Grassel posted 25 points. Grassel's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Hunter Vogt, who had 14 points.

Alexander's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Gananda Central, their loss dropped their record down to 16-6.

As of now, neither Alexander nor Gananda Central have any future games scheduled.
