Football Game Recap: Kentlake vs. Auburn Mountainview

Kentlake came up short against Auburn Mountainview on Thursday, falling 17-31. The loss was a vexing one since Kentlake were expected to win based on their state ranking.

Auburn Mountainview found Auburn Mountainview's leader in underclassman sophomore Berkley Alfrey, who rushed for 103 yards and 1 touchdown. They also got a significant boost from sophomore Berkley Alfrey, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 103 yards.

Kentlake are on a four-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 4-4. The win bumped Auburn Mountainview's record up to 2-5.

Next week Kentlake take on Jefferson at 7:00 PM. As for Auburn Mountainview, they will face off against Hazen. Hazen are cruising in on a four-game winning streak.
