Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wilson Prep). They strolled past the Farmville Central Jaguars with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 38-21. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 28-14 victory the Jaguars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

It was another big night for Travon Usher, who rushed for 104 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 90 yards and one TD. Another player making a difference was Tyquan Whitaker, who picked up 90 receiving yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Wilson Prep was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 296 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 184 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
