Lumberton suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were outmatched by East Marion on the road and fell 79-42.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Salem, who are still winless after their 14th game. Their tough 60-35 defeat to Enterprise on Friday might stick with them for a while.
Lumberton's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Salem, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-14.
Lumberton strolled past Salem in their previous matchup on January 5th by a score of 54-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lumberton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
