Leroy got themselves on the board against Fruitdale on Friday, but Fruitdale never followed suit. They blew past the Pirates 15-0. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Leroy is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Fruitdale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-15.

Coincidentally, Leroy and Fruitdale will both be playing Millry the next time they take the field. The Bears will host the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Pirates will host them on Tuesday.
