Soccer Game Preview: Oregon vs. Byron

Oregon hasn't had much luck against Byron recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Hawks will take on the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Oregon will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Oregon and Mendota, and Oregon kept the tradition alive. The Hawks came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Oregon were the better team in the second half.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Saturday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Princeton who was credited with the victory. Princeton got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Byron's three. It was the first time this season that Byron let down their fans at home.

Oregon's win bumped their record up to 9-2-1. As for Byron, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3-2.
