Baseball Recap: Schenck Falls to Woodland in First Game of Season

Schenck had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 11-1 to the Woodland Dragons on Monday. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Schenck saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Stanley, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

The victory got Woodland back to even at 1-1.

Schenck wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-0 loss against Bangor Christian on the 23rd. As for Woodland, they will venture away from home to square off against Jonesport-Beals at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
