Basketball Game Preview: Tonasket Tigers vs. Brewster Bears

Tonasket is 2-8 against Brewster since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tonasket Tigers will host the Brewster Bears at 7:30 p.m.

Last Friday, Tonasket lost to Lake Roosevelt on the road by a 66-52 margin.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brewster). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Bridgeport 83-50. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bears as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Tonasket's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8. As for Brewster, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-14.

Tonasket strolled past Brewster when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 78-62. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Brewster's Brady Wulf, who went 9 of 16 en route to 22 points in addition to eight boards and three steals.
