Basketball Recap: Spring Takes a Loss

Spring came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by the Cypress Falls Eagles 71-44. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Spring's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Cypress Falls, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Spring is headed away from home for the first time to square off against College Park at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cypress Falls, they will take on Langham Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
