Flag Football Recap: Wasilla Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wasilla and Dimond squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Wasilla had to settle for second. They fell 27-14 to the Lynx. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lynx earlier this season, when they won 42-12.

Wasilla's loss dropped their record down to 17-3. As for Dimond, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Wasilla and Dimond are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Warriors will face off against Service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Dimond, they will take on South Anchorage at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Lynx 9.3, the Wolverines 6.6) so any points scored will be well earned.
