Basketball Recap: Conifer Takes a Loss

Conifer lost against Wheat Ridge back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Conifer Lobos lost to the Wheat Ridge Farmers on the road by a 68-50 margin. The Lobos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Conifer still got an impressive performance from Isaac Pratt, who went 8 for 18 on his way to 19 points and six rebounds. Benson White was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards.

Conifer's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Wheat Ridge, they pushed their record up to 10-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Conifer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-22 defeat against Standley Lake on the 7th. As for Wheat Ridge, they have also already played their next contest, a 64-60 loss against Golden on the 7th.
