The Douglas Eagles can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They really took it to North Sand Mountain for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-26 win on the road. The result was nothing new for Douglas, who have now won three matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.
Douglas' victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for North Sand Mountain, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
Douglas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Sand Mountain will head out on the road to face off against Locust Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Locust Fork will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
