KACHEA extended their winning streak to nine on Thursday, bumping them up to 22-12. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 69-63 W against the Cumberland Christian Home Educators Hawks. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly six points.

As for Cumberland Christian Home Educators, they moved to 35-7 with that loss, which also ended their 14-game winning streak. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (62), they still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Cumberland Christian Home Educators still got an impressive performance from Joshua Sloan, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 12 boards. Gabe Coleman was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to seven rebounds and four blocks.
