Softball Recap: Hawken Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Hawken was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They lost 22-2 to the Harvey Red Raiders. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Red Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Ari Ruch made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple. That triple was her first of the season. Ila Pohl was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Hawken's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Harvey, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Hawken will square off against Chagrin Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harvey, they will challenge Brush at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
