Quitman barely beat Mt. Vernon-Enola the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went the Quitman Bulldogs' way against the Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks on Tuesday as the Quitman Bulldogs made off with an 11-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Warhawks: they've now won four in a row.

Quitman's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Mt. Vernon-Enola, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quitman will face off against Westside at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Vernon-Enola, they will be playing at home against Bradford at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mt. Vernon-Enola has given up an average of 6.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
