Softball Recap: Pisgah Beats Choctaw Central for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Pisgah waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 12-8 win over the Choctaw Central Warriors.

Madysen Washington was a standout: she scored three runs while going 1-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Hallie McCurdy was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base.

Pisgah hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most two strikeouts in five consecutive matches.

Pisgah's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Choctaw Central, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.

Pisgah wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Sebastopol on the 25th. As for Choctaw Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-0 win against East Webster on the 25th.
