Basketball Game Preview: Springdale Bulldogs vs. Bryant Hornets

The Springdale Bulldogs will square off against the Bryant Hornets on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Springdale comes in on 21 and Bryant on nine.

Springdale is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top against Jonesboro by a score of 57-44.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bryant). They walked away with a 92-79 victory over Har-Ber on Saturday.

Springdale better keep an eye on Kellen Robinson. He was instrumental in Bryant's win, dropping a double-double with 29 points and ten assists. The game was Robinson's sixth in a row with at least 25 points. Camarion Bead was another key player, going 7-for-17 on his way to 19 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Bryant smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive contests.

Bryant's win bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Springdale, their victory bumped their record up to 29-3.

Springdale was dealt a bruising 71-42 defeat at the hands of Bryant in their previous matchup back in March of 2021. Can Springdale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
