Jasper extends home winning streak to 11

The Jasper Vikings had already won 16 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.3 points), and they went ahead and made it 17 on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Ramsay with a sharp 41-15 victory. Jasper has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Jasper's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hallie Harrell led the charge by scoring 12 points. Another player making a difference was Missy Odom, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Jasper's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-4. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35 points. As for Ramsay, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-14.

Jasper will be playing in front of their home fans against East Limestone at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. East Limestone will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 115th, while Jasper is ranked 11th). Ramsay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
