Baseball Recap: Notre Dame Prep Takes a Loss

Bunnell hit Notre Dame Prep with a six-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Lancers fell 12-9 to the Bulldogs. Lancers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Bulldogs since on Thursday.

Ezequias Reyes was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. What's more, he gave up only two walks, the fewest he's had over his last three matchups. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
