Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Piper walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Lansing Lions 73-40. The victory was nothing new for the Pirates as they're now sitting on three straight.

Piper's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points over those games. As for Lansing, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Piper nor Lansing have any future games scheduled.
