Basketball Recap: Pendleton Comes Up Short

It was a good run, but Pendleton unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 66-45 to the Baker Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buckaroos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-38 back in January.

Pendleton's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Baker, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-8.

Pendleton and Baker should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. Pendleton (ranked 112th) will meet Ontario (ranked 227th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Baker will challenge La Grande at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 131 places (46 vs. 177).
