Vernon Marauders get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Thursday. Considering the Dragons have won eight matchups by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
New Palestine let Katie Hirschy and Maddie Engle run wild. Hirschy went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Engle went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that Hirschy has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Beranek, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
The win made it two in a row for New Palestine and bumps their season record up to 10-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Mt.
