Woodstock North had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They skirted past the Grayslake Central Rams 10-9. For the Thunder, this counts as revenge for the 11-9 victory the Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Grayslake Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Woodstock North will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Jacobs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are still undefeated (the Thunder have nine wins dating back to last season, while the Golden Eagles have four dating back to last season). As for Grayslake Central, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-3 win against Lake Zurich on the 3rd.
