Softball Game Preview: Marshall Eagles vs. Arroyo Knights

Marshall is 0-10 against Arroyo since March of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Eagles will host the Knights at 3:15 p.m. Marshall has given up an average of 22.2 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Marshall is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They lost 19-1 to South El Monte.

Meanwhile, Arroyo came up short against San Dimas on Monday and fell 6-3.

Arroyo's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-1. As for Marshall, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Marshall suffered a grim 18-4 defeat to Arroyo when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
