Volleyball Recap: Prospect Triumphs

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Prospect had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against the Chicago Academy Cougars by a score of 2-0.

Jack Fitzgerald paced Prospect's offense, picking up nine kills. Fitzgerald got some help from Ryan Cook and his 17 assists. Bartosz Czerwiec controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Prospect's win bumped their record up to 26-9. As for Chicago Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Looking ahead, Prospect will square off against Maine East at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chicago Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
