Volleyball Game Preview: NOVA Academy Eagles vs. Samueli Academy Firewolves

The NOVA Academy Eagles will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Samueli Academy Firewolves at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.

NOVA Academy can't be too happy about their upcoming road match considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Vista Meridian.

While NOVA Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 20-25, 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Samueli Academy earned a 3-1 win over Oxford Academy on Friday.

While Samueli Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Oxford Academy scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 23-25, 25-21.

NOVA Academy might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Samueli Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
