Basketball Recap: Daniel Ojeda Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Riverdale

Chowchilla won the last time they faced Riverdale and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Chowchilla Tribe took down the Riverdale Cowboys 51-37. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tribe.

Chowchilla's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Daniel Ojeda, who posted eight points along with five rebounds and three steals. Ojeda has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zayne Smith, who had nine points.

The victory got Chowchilla back to even at 11-11. As for Riverdale, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-7.

Chowchilla has already played their next game, a 47-30 win against Caruthers on the 23rd. As for Riverdale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-34 loss against Kings Christian on the 23rd.
