Softball Recap: Streator's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Streator had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Reed-Custer Comets by a score of 8-5 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Comets back in April, they had to take a 10-2 loss.

Streator's win bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Reed-Custer, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Streator will challenge Lisle at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Reed-Custer, they will take on Coal City at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
