Volleyball Recap: Elmwood-Murdock Knights vs. Falls City Tigers
There's no place like home for Elmwood-Murdock, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Falls City Tigers by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

Leading Elmwood-Murdock to victory were Brooke Goudie and Zoe Zierott. Goudie had eight aces and five digs, while Zierott had 14 digs and four aces. The dominant performance gave her a new career- in aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylie Gordon, who had ten digs.
Elmwood-Murdock was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Falls City only served five.
Elmwood-Murdock's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Falls City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
Elmwood-Murdock will square off against Lincoln Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln Lutheran will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Elmwood-Murdock surely won't give up without a fight. As for Falls City, they will venture away from home to challenge Sterling at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
