Volleyball Recap: Penns Valley Area Finds Home Court Redemption Against Westmont Hilltop

There's no place like home for Penns Valley Area, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 25-20, 27-25, 26-24.

Westmont Hilltop's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Isabella Thomas, who had 17 assists, and Kelsie Muto, who had five digs and one assist. Thomas has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last nine times she's played.

The victory got Penns Valley Area back to even at 3-3. As for Westmont Hilltop, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Penns Valley Area has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Bald Eagle Area on the 8th. As for Westmont Hilltop, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Bedford on the 8th.
