Basketball Recap: Chilton Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Chilton Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 44-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of East Central HomeSchool.

Leading East Central HomeSchool to victory were Stella Barnett and Caroline Moore. Barnett almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds, while Moore dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards. Those nine rebounds gave Barnett a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Rhi Rhi King, who posted five points.

Chilton Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for East Central HomeSchool, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Chilton Christian Academy and East Central HomeSchool will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Patriots see the court they'll take on Ezekiel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 9. As for East Central HomeSchool, their break will end when they face Evangel Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 4.
