Turpin scored the most runs they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Archbishop McNicholas Rockets by a score of 11-10. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rockets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Turpin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Archbishop McNicholas, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Looking ahead, Turpin will take on Anderson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Archbishop McNicholas, they will face off against Chaminade Julienne Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rockets will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
