Manila and Harding Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Manila had to settle for second. They took a 58-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harding Academy Wildcats. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their 16-game winning streak.

Harding Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emery Wilson, who posted 17 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Citty, who earned 16 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Manila's defeat dropped their record down to 27-6. As for Harding Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-3 record this season.
