Basketball Recap: Colfax Beats Freeman for Their Third Straight Victory

Freeman typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Colfax proved too difficult a challenge. They took down the Freeman Scotties 50-35. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Freeman's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taylee Phelps, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds. Logan Pecht was another key player, putting up six points and three blocks.

Colfax now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Freeman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-6.

Colfax has already played their next contest, a 53-42 loss against Liberty on the 22nd. Freeman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
