Softball Recap: Rickards Comes Up Short

If Rickards was riding high fresh off their 21-2 takedown of Jefferson County last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Rickards lost 11-4 to the Aucilla Christian Warriors on Tuesday. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Arriana Wilson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Rickards now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Aucilla Christian, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Rickards will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bay at 6:00 p.m. As for Aucilla Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against North Florida Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
