It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bothell had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Lincoln Lynx 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Lynx last Saturday, they had to take a 6-3 defeat.
Bothell's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ayden Rheaume, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.
The victory made it two in a row for Bothell and bumps their season record up to 13-12. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 19-7.
As of now, neither Bothell nor the Lynx have any future games scheduled.
