Basketball Recap: Clarkston Angoras vs. Southwest DeKalb Panthers
Clarkston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Southwest DeKalb Panthers and fell 62-17. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Angoras this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-10 back in January.
Several Angoras players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Anaiyah Sims, who posted four points and three steals. Aoure Saria was another key player, putting up five points and five boards.
Clarkston's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Southwest DeKalb, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-8.
Clarkston has already played their next contest, a 57-10 victory against Druid Hills on the 8th. Southwest DeKalb does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
