Baseball Recap: Harrison Beats Farmington for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Harrison won against Farmington last Monday with 13 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Harrison Goblins were the clear victor by a 13-3 margin over the Farmington Cardinals. While the Goblins didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-15-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The victory (which was Harrison's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Farmington, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Harrison will look to defend their home field on March 27th against El Dorado at 3:45 p.m. We've got a battle between Cardinals coming up. Farmington has given up an average of 9.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
