They will square off against the High Point Christian Academy Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Caldwell Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 245th, while High Point Christian Academy is ranked 13th).
Caldwell Academy suffered their biggest defeat since November 14, 2023 on Wednesday. They took a serious blow against Wesleyan Christian Academy, falling 78-28.
High Point Christian Academy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 58-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Greensboro Day School on Tuesday.
Caldwell Academy's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 5-6. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.5 points per game. As for High Point Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 16-3.
