Basketball Game Preview: Springboro Panthers vs. Upper Arlington Golden Bears

The Springboro Panthers will take on the Upper Arlington Golden Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Springboro sitting on nine straight victories and Upper Arlington on four.

Springboro is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They strolled past Seton with points to spare, taking the game 41-27. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Saints are ranked 63rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Upper Arlington was able to grind out a solid win over Grove City on Saturday, taking the game 54-46.

Upper Arlington's victory was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points over those games. As for Springboro, their win bumped their record up to 20-4.
